Based on the deep understanding of African swine fever (ASF) and the core concepts of biosecurity and comprehensive ASF control practices, guidelines for the repopulation of industrialized pig farms were formulated for biosecurity-based prevention and control of ASF, including review of the epidemic, cleaning and disinfection of pig houses and in-out standard operating procedures for personnel, supplies, vehicles and pigs, which provides protocols for the production resumption of ASF-affected farms.
